EXCLUSIVE: Check out new pages from BASTARDS OF THE COSMOS #2

By Zack Quaintance — The madcap Kirby homage series, Bastards of the Cosmos, is getting a second issue, with a pre-launch page for the project now live on Kickstarter, and today it is our absolute honor to have a set of preview pages for the book to EXCLUSIVELY unveil here. You can find those pages below, but first, a word about the book.

The first issue of this series was fantastic, delivering as it did a Kirby-homage that also blends in elements of samurai, western, and revenge films — in space. The artwork on the first book was done by our pal David Moses Lenoir, and while he’s not working on the second issue, this 23-page black-and-white comic does feature new work by a pair of fantastic artists — J.C. Grande and James Coats. Writer Shah Emami is of course returning and had this to say about the book:

"I'll mention that issue two is easily accessible for people who haven't read the first one. You can jump in and experience the story without any confusion. The best part is, the book is done! We're just waiting to send the print file off after the campaign ends so we can mail the book to backers as soon as possible."

It’s all good things, and you can check out our exclusive preview below!
