Comics Bookcase is an independent imprint in the crowdfunding space that has averaged more than 350 backers and raised nearly $32,000 across three successful campaigns.
The imprint is run by Zack Quaintance, a comic writer and veteran comics journalist who has written for NPR, Publishers Weekly, and the Eisner-winning website, Comics Beat, where he currently serves as the reviews editor.
From 2018 through 2022, Comics Bookcase was a news/reviews website for weekly comics sickos. The site’s four years of daily updates can be accessed through the this archive.
