EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW: A Norse adventure concludes with HELLBOY - THE BONES OF GIANTS #4

Hellboy: The Bones of Giants #4 is out Februar 16, 2022.

By Zack Quaintance — If you haven’t been paying attention, Hellboy comics have been really great lately, from the Sir Edward Grey - Acheron #1 one-shot (drawn by Mike Mignola himself) to the newly-launched Sword of Hyperborea series. My favorite, however, has been the Hellboy: The Bones of Giants, a four-part series that is a comics adaptation of a Hellboy illustrated novel. And today, it is my absolute honor to have an exclusive preview of Hellboy: The Bones of Giants #4, the finale for the miniseries.

Illustrated by Matt Smith with colors by Dave Stewart and letters by Clem Robins, Hellboy: Bones of Giants is such a great mash-up of two things I really love: Norse mythology and (obviously) Hellboy. If you’ve been reading the book, you already know, but what happens in this story is that Hellboy gets a hold of Thor’s hammer — and he can’t put it down. All kinds of typical Hellboy ensues, from the acerbic one-liners to the bashing of frost giants. It’s all just really fantastic.

Hellboy: The Bones of Giants #4 is out this Wednesday, February 16, and you can find five interior pages from the book below…enjoy!
