If you backed and read Death of Comics Bookcase, Vol. 1, you probably recognize that guy, who Frederik did an incredible job translating to the classic EC Comics cover style. He’s the Comics Bookcase, an anthropomorphic talking bookcase who is also an aspiring comic book writer…even though nobody anywhere wants to read his comics. He is, essentially, my Crypt Keeper, the narrator who tells the stories in Death of Comics Bookcase series. I also asked Frederik to load that piece with nods to other great indie comics made by my friends and supporters, the folks who encourage and inspire me to keep writing comics.
